A Wealth Management Company Uncomplicating Finance

Why pay advisory fees on the money you can't afford to lose?

Our clients pay no advisory fees on their income sleeve.
They pay 1% on the money invested for long-term growth.

That's how it should be, and how almost nobody else does it.

Free to compound. Free to be aggressive.

A rule is only a standard, because no one does anything about it.

You've spent decades building against inflation, taxes, and uncertainty. We've spent decades watching segments of an industry serve itself instead of you.

So we built an alternative.

Two sleeves… One coordinated household.

Two sleeves, one plan — invested so a move in one sleeve shouldn't impact you in the other.

The compounding cost of paying fees on the income sleeve.

Two clients. Identical $1M portfolios.
Same 60/40 allocation. Same returns: 8% on growth, 5% on income.
No withdrawals. Twenty years.
The only difference: where the advisory fee is charged.

Spotlight Financial - Our Story

Spotlight Financial, team of financial advisors in Corpus Christi, TX

A new firm built on decades of experience.

When we started Spotlight Financial, we did so with a singular goal: to create a culture that was our own. We wanted to define, in clear and certain terms, how to deliver the best client service experience.

That meant challenging long-held beliefs in a business desperate for improvement. It was a conversation long overdue.

At Spotlight Financial, our intention is to shine a light on the parts of our industry that have prioritized profits over their original purpose: doing what is best for clients.

Their two-sleeve approach rethinks the architecture of the conventional investment portfolio and challenges the status quo.

The Spotlight team also includes Armando "Mandy" De Leon (Alex's father, with nearly 40 years of consulting experience), Diana Paris (LPL Registered Sales Assistant), Phoebe Glemba (Financial Advisor), and Ashlyn Clark (Sales Assistant) — a multigenerational practice rooted in Corpus Christi.

Three steps.
Specific to how we actually practice.

Step I

Understand your full household.

Most advisors ask about risk tolerance. We ask about your specific spending needs and time horizons. That determines how we size each sleeve — not a generic 60/40 model.

Step II

Build two sleeves, not one portfolio.

Your income sleeve is sized to cover withdrawals and structured to create a downside buffer. Your growth sleeve is positioned for longer-term investment objectives. Coordinated as one household allocation — not as two competing accounts.

Step III

Communicate through cycles and life changes.

Our growth strategy may trail the index in some years and beat it in others. We'll help you understand the economic and market conditions that affect your portfolio. Often clients leave advisors over communication, not performance. We've designed against that.

Take the Next Step

A 30-minute conversation.
No pressure.

If our approach makes sense for your situation, we'll show you the math on your specific household. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too — and where else to look.
